Hi,
My weight is 69/70 kg, I started kiting 3 weeks ago .
I have two WOOKs with 16.5 and 12 m2. My Board is an x-shooter 155.
I intend to buy an additional WOOK, probably 9.5 (maybe 7.5) and also an additional smaller board, don't know which one yet.
I used to wait for at least 12 kts til I went out with the 16.5. I have used the 12 at 18, maybe 20 kts. (Yust a few hours kite experiance )
Can't tell if the the WOOKs are good or not, haven't flown anything else. But I think it's a good kite, felt very comfortable with it. Same with the board.
Style: Beginner style
Tricks: Trying transitions, going upwind (easy), surviving first jumps
Spots: Europe, worldwide. No useful home spot (f*#&$~-windless-Bodensee )
greets
Peter

since we have no wind for a few weeks...i figured maybe it was time i added to this thread..for what its worth..here goes:
2001 gorge animal 5 foot board with a 9.3 concept air new wave foil
early 2002 ArC unwedged 840, 1120, and later a 1510..I rode all these stacked in various arrays and even stacked all three once! (maybe someday ill post the pics in the carribean mex. gallery) rode a lwave 169 and then a 161 picklefork (cause the graphics looked like muscles and Im a sucker for anatomy based art being a chiro and all)
late 2002 and early 2003: sshot fuel 12 bought used from Tobias in Cabarete (thanx Jeff for an awsome kite!) and a takoon 14. Pitbull 148..still one of the fastest boards i ever rode!!
My Quiver hoy en dia (right now) is: 2003 sshot fuel 17 and 9..both kickass kites..and a GXR gaastra 14 for boosting massive. 2003 lightwave 136 for the board.
TOMORROW my beautiful blue beast the MA 16 is coming back to me from its tune up with Manfred in Switzerland with the new spyder bar...this is the ultimate sunset session lightwind beast and one of the best purchases i ever made!
always used Fusion harnesses and a witchard release. ALWAYS ride with a kiteleash attached to the witchard so that it all rotates as one unit.
Dumped the boardleash recently but just because I have more riders at my spot now and im pretty damn good at dragging back to the board..but still use it on late, lonely sunset sessions.
with all the thousands of great new systems of rotating kite leashes NOBODY has an excuse not to leash the beast. PLEASE..for your safety, for the safety of your precious expensive kite, and for all those poor innocent people on the beach....LEASH YOUR FUCKING KITE!!!
hugs and kisses from the land of Mañana!

Hi all
I started kiting last autumn. I went to course and then did some snowkiting last winter. Now I'm trying to learn kitesurfing in the water.
I weigh 77kg and I'm 90cm tall.
This my gear:
For winter:
- Flexifoil Blade II 4.9 (with handles and Wipika 75cm bar)
- Boy-Cot snow-blades
- Red snowboarding helmet
For summer:
- Flexifoil Airblast 11.8 (16m2 flat)
- Takoon Dreambar 2003
- F-One XM-80 directional board (197x45, 4.4kg)
- Body Glove 5mm diving wetsuit
- Jet-ski Gloves, 5mm wetsuit shoes, hood on early spring/late autumn
- Pro-limit floating vest
- Prijon Surf helmet
As a harness I use Naish Highback Seat Harness 2002 both during summer and winter.
I hope I didn't forget anything... I also use the Blade on summer but haven't yet tried that in the water...
