I have new kites that tend to hindenburg in light wind. They fly very far forward in the window which is great for depower and getting upwind, but in light gusty wind they surge forward, luff, turn nose down and crash.

The easiest solution I can think of is moving the front lines to the inner attachment points. Will this solve the hindenberg problem? I know this will decrease the depower ability but are there other disadvantages? Will it decrease turning speed and/or flying speed?

I will eventually answer these questions for myself after trying it but I would like to know the theoretical answers in advance.
