Is there anyone using Best Nemesis at Guincho/Portugal.
I´d like to buy one and am very interested to know your opinions.

I do. I have 10m and 8m. 10m is the smallest i need. Perfect for 32 knots gusts without ever being overpowered. Perfect for wave riding. Guincho has some particular conditions to which you have to get used to: thermal gusty and multi-directional winds.
Can you add more info: When will you come (because of the winds you will probably get)? What is your level? Quiver? What do you like to do (freestyle? waves?)? Why Guincho ?

I´m beginner, I´ve finished a course n m sure I want to do this sport.

I´m already in Lisbon n will spend here another 2 months, so I think it´s best time n place to do kiting in Portugal.

Could give any suggestions what kind of gear should I buy.

You should go to Nova Vaga in Costa da Caparica instead of Guincho as it is a official kite beach and the beach is huge and without rocks.
With your weight (as oyu mentioned in the PM) the 14m will be perfect for your next steps of learning with the Portuguese summer winds in Nova Vaga. In that beach, there are plenty of other riders and instructors to help (you don't have those in Guincho).

What about boards, I think about buying 137/40 cm is that ok for a beginner or should I think of buying bigger one.

A fellow teacher says that 150cm is the biggest you ever need to learn...
If you are not riding ok, please evaluate the conditions welll before going to Guincho or if you do, rigg and ride only near the central rock. You will learn slower and we might ALL be banned from there.
The problem is that when the wind is below 20 knots the beach is very crowded so you must go outside. As you can imagine, wind above 20 knots or riding only outside are not the best conditions learn...
After a "beach meeting" with the authorities, we (that must use it all year long) are trying to sensibilise riders about it and it has been working really fine! Even the "issues" with the windsurfers are gone. Perfect!

I know conditions overthere, I mean safety, waves and wind, I ve taken lessons in Guincho.

I am not a guy who likes to take risks, so before entering a water I will certainly spend hours with my own kite on the beach just to be sure I know it well enough to enter water and then I wont do it with beach full of people or surfers.

In fact I saw a guy who came with his own kite without any lessons before, tried to enter the water and was drugged out of it and ended in the middle of the beach. Luckily he didn´t hurt anyone or himself.

I also witnessed a visit of Portugese sea guard on the beach just to warn kitesurfers to be more carefull.

Anyway probably your suggestion to start in costa de caparica is optimal, but after practicing there I would like to kite in guincho. And then what do you think with my weight and wind conditions in guincho I should buy 12m or 14m, for now I think 14m will give me greater range of opportunities to kitesurf without being overpowered with winds stronger than 20 knots.
