Suicide leash

i have noticed all the pros use a leash attached to their chicked loop. with this setep you have a spinning leash right? but if you crash the kite doesnt depower? any one have more info on this system and how to set up your bar with it.

this type of leash allows spins and handle passes but it wont depower the kite until the kite reaches the edge of the window. Its not a leash for safety as much as it is for making sure you dont have your kite fly away when you let go. all you do to set one up is attach a bungee to your chicken loop and your harness.
