i noticed today that no one had wriiten a review for the 16.5 contra
so i decided why not ........... so this is what i have gotten from the kite

my favorite quality of the kite is not only does it pull like an 18 but i turns as fast as any 14m kite on the market

my brother was flying his 19.5 takoon mamoot and so i switched between these kites for an hour or too in light conditions

i had i admit a slight bit more power with the 19.5
........it was parked in the window and i was riding my surfboard(a 6'2) and i could stay upwind

then i jumped on the 16.5 contra and i could park it for 90% of the time with a little movement for power but the kite was soooo amazingly fast that i soon as i moved it i would need to sheet out for a second to not slide out on the surfboard (the board had very little wax on it)

then the wind picked up and my brother was well powered with a 122 slingshot board and i was well powered with my icon 130 but i was doing fun wakestyle stuff with jumps atleast head high while he was just doing little bunnyhop types of things

overall i love this kite i recommend everyone try one if they get a chance

So how do you rate their Web site stated wind range for the 16.5m (8-20 mph) ?

What weight are you ?

the wind range 8-20 is ideal and realistic

no kite can make u ride in 5 i dont care what anyone says
