Never mind the dimension question, I will find that out myself.

@Tom, it was an open goal, then one has to score.

@Mark:
What was the setup for steering force you used?
In the beginning of your vid the S17 turns almost around its ax, looks like soft steering, isn't it?
Later on (loop) it turns on its tip, hard steering?

Did you fly it trimmed at the stopper or do you use a fixed loop and trim it at hooked in position and you can unhook from fixed loop and depower for gusts.
Maybe this to much "Tube-like" (like i'm used to) .. should i just trim the kite at the stopper (gustabsorber) and i will be fine in gusts?
What about extra lift / hangtime when one is hooked in fixed loop (or in my case the microloop from North) or is this again to much "Tube-like" ?

17m arrived today!!! Happy me! :D

Might get a test ride today, but not sure - wind is up around 20mph! :o

Tomorrow looks a little better, might also be able to do the shootout with the Contra 23.5m.

Just weighed it: 8lbs/3.6kg. That's only 1lb more than the HF17m, and at least 4lbs less than the Contra 23.5m...
