New Bar, however I can see how this contradicts your design/marketing approach of:

Old Kite, different, untested material.

I talked to Neil Pryde Maui yesterday and asked about the Powerlock. They said that they are in the last phases of testing and it should be out very soon. It will be an add on feature for those that want it. I think that the addition of the Powerlock will really make the kite a winner especially on the low end. It is almost too much to try and hold the 12 all the way in for a long period of time to try and milk every bit of power. I felt that if I could lock it in the kite would pull just as hard as my 16.5 Contra or maybe even harder.

Deffinitly sounds like it has the range, as was confirmed by this review from another thread:

The super quick turning, the unbelievable relaunch, the massive hang time, or the safety?
If the kite doesn't happen to be there, just ask anyone that tried it, I'm sure that they can help you out.

I'v flown the 9m saturday in 12 to 16mph wind range which was surprising,
because in that starting range I use the Rapture 15m.
Now I can confirm all the above it's true, no hype.
It has very similar flying and jumping technic as the Rapture,
so I got the hang of it right away.
It's a great kite and you could get away with a much smaller kite than normaly you'd be using.
The low end is unreal.

It's the same bar as the other 06 kites if that's what you meant, as for the barends ect. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

PowerLock Compatible...that means that the standard bar will come with the PowerLock stainless fitting built into the bar...like '05 (per the picture). The depower line will not come with the PowerLock hook as standard; some riders like it some don't. I like it alot! The PowerLock hook will come as an add on. Regarding bar pressure...at the low wind end of the kite, I agree, the bar pressure is more than my Nitros for example. However, when powered up, I have not noticed additional bar pressure.

I'm wondering where the powerlock hook will go. It can't go on the red collar, because that deploys the quick release chicken loop when pulled toward the kite. It can't go above it on the depower line because it would block the quick release. Hmmm.....
