Best Yarga 7m

Postby Wawando » Tue Aug 23, 2005 11:44 am

Hi,

The only other 7m i ever rode was the Hellfish 7m :o
I rode the Nemesis 8m during last year.
I simply love this little guy.
- Very stable
- Flies as fast as you want it - no surprises if you come from a 9m
- Turns on a dime
- No bottom turn pull except if hit by a super gust
- Jumps like shit (note: it is me, not the kite: 83kg +20m lines +7m kite = not there yet)
- You pump it in 16 strokes (super feature)

I still feel that with the nem 8m there where times at the bottoms when i was more free with les pull and i like that feeling. On the other hand it pulled a little more.
I will have to do a side-by-side to check it (but with sand flying all over the place, there are not much hands helping to switch kites for testing...:-?)

See you!

Where is this place with all the sand flying around?
...
must be Guincho, Portugal :)

( se tivesse tomatitos para o guincho ainda comprava uma 7m...)

Maybe the Best kites are the cheap ones after all :)

Don´t bother...
.. I ride Advance

Hi Wawandoo,
Put it on stock lines and it will jump ok.
Tried a Yarga7 once from a friend, at minimum wind conditions for it, so i'm no expert.
Great kite, jumps ok, fast but not nervous (hands at the center of the bar...otherwise it will race the window..)

Hi, what bar size do you use for it?, I've tryed it with a 45 bar and it was a bullet, too fast. So I've buyed a 40cm bar and it is ok now.
I've seen that now, best sell also 38cm bar did you tryed it?

Hi,
4th day in a row with 7m, so jumps are dialed :D . It is the wind that is a shit at > 30 knots around here.
I have a 23m bar for when i want to jump.
Today i had a very wierd thing with my Yarga 9m (2005 too). I rigged it and the wind was too strong and the kite kept closing and tips almost touching each other! Never seen this before. Hyper justy and 30ish knots so that might be the explanation... it was with 20m lines.
The bar i use is Best swivel (2005) and i think it is 45cm.
No problem with turning speed both 9m and 7m feel perfect with 20m or 23m lines.

See you!
