I purchashed 136 Classic Slipper from John Holtzall last year, This was my first board I have been out on the water about a dozen times, I haven't used any other board so I can't compare it to other boards, but I can get up and ride in 10 to 30 mph winds I have used it with my Rage 8, 12 and 17M kites Its very comfortable and I like the complete padded deck. I did add adjustable foot straps the orginal straps were NSI non Adjustable and I could not fit my feet with booties on.
It has been a great board to learn on and I think I will be using it for a long time. My son is also learning to kite with this board.
