Crossbow vs Switchblade??

Postby rezaff » Fri Oct 14, 2005 7:39 pm

Has anyone tested both the crossbow and the Switchblade?
How do these kites compare?

Any views would be appreciated....

Rode briefly on the switchblade 12 today in underpowered conditions, way less bar pressure. Can't say too much else as the wind was pretty light, low end seemed good for the amount of wind. Turns nice.

Crossbow vs. Switchblade

Hmmm...

Well I would think the Crossbow would have better range, that is you could hit your opponent from far away. Whereas with the Switchblade you would need to be standing right next to him. Unless you were good at throwing knives, but even then you only got one switchblade right? Crossbows usually come with a quiver of arrows...

Hmmm...

There is a pretty good comparison by a guy on our forum at:

http://www.oceanextremesports.com/phpBB ... c.php?t=43

This is by a guy that has been riding the Crossbows from day one, and got his hands on the Switchblade. He just rides surfboards, and directionals, and loves the waves... anyway, thought it was a pretty good comparision....
