Easy Simon, why so defensive? Nobody is accusing anyone here. I was just giving props to the smart guys at Best Kiteboarding. Quite the designers.

Look for a board with a flatter rocker curve and thin rails. Flatter rocker is the number one thing; hard rails will be a little faster and soft rails will offer a little more control, but in any case for a fast board you want those rails thin.

Always happy to help out. Matter of fact, tell Peter if he has any questions on how any of it works he can give me a call. I'll keep it on the down-low.
Cheers,

I am shocked, shocked! at the suggestion that one kite company might have reused ideas pioneered by another kite company.
In the history of kitesurfing, this has got to be a new low. Up till now, each and every kite was designed in a vaccum, without any influence of the kites that preceeded them...

I think u did a great review and im impressed of your level testing, u are pretty acurate, and i love that people is reaching that level of feeling to see how things work. U shoul take testing profesionally writing for magazines or working with designers!
Cheers and congratulations i will look forward to keep reading your posts!

Mark or Simon
Can you comment on the valves used on the Waroo? Are they ball valves, flap valves, no valves?
Do they have the same size valves on all the struts?
Thanks

GK and Best kites are both made in the same factory. How hard would it be for Best to ask the factory to make a just like the Sonic, but with a few cosmetic changes? I'm just asking...
