What is the 19.5m wind range. Does it have good depower and is the lift and hang time good.

I have a the 2005 Contra 23.5 and love it. Only I blew the leading edge once on a barnacle enrcusted rock. I loved it so much that I pissed away another $1700 on another one, only to pop that leading edge bladder on a sea shell on the beach.

These things are so big they are a real bitch to self land if no one else is around. The recon depower doesn't work that well because when you have 23 sq meters of kite material blowing around in the sky, it still pulls you with some force. And the recon bullets (version one, they didn't upgrade it to version 2) don't work very well. It's a real bitch to relaunch. But I was up and riding, nicely upwind, with 11 mph of wind, fully trimmed, on the shortest pigtails, 158cm board, and I weight 160.

I am getting it patched for spring use but I am looking into buying a Best Waroo 20 because it has a projected area ratio of 24.8 sq meters. I should be able to kitesurf in 9 mph of wind.

It doesn't jump well but has a lot of grunt.

I also have the Cabrinha Co2 in and 8, 10,12, and 16. 12 is my favorite.
