great BOWs review from real

Postby vp » Mon Jan 16, 2006 8:53 am

This is the best all around Bow review and comparisson that I've seen so far. Seems strangely unbiased. Totally agree about the 3 different bows that i've tried myself.

Okay...the brands they do carry and sell: Slingshot, Best, GK, and Liquid Force(and it looks like maybe Ocean Rodeo this year??). Those are all the ones that got great reviews. The brands they don't carry: Cabrinha, Naish, Airush....they all got less than good reviews. The comment about the Switchblade and don't even take it out of the bag....? Hummmmm??? Other than that, they did have nice pictures.... :o

Yeah I'd say the review was biased in a big way. I haven't flown any of the kites except the switchblade, but as the Switchblade is likely to be the biggest threat to their brands if they do not carry Cabrinha, it makes sense that they totally thrashed it!

From every other review I've read, the Switchblade has less bar pressure than the Crossbow. So why are they saying it has twice the bar pressure of the Crossbow??? I smell a rat there.....probably selective choosing of reviewers!!

Anyway I tried a Switchblade 12 on the weekend again in light underpowered conditions when bar pressure should be its highest. I didn't notice it and found it much lighter than the Nitro 10 I was just using and ended up having to be waved in so to return the kite as I was having so much fun.

Anyway I think that the review was pretty biased, but that said the pictures were nice to look at.

Yes i agree with Scott, about SB.
Anyway the 9 waroo is much slower than the 12 CABRINHA CB.
And THATS a fact !! So guys don't say things like good speed .
For sure these guys are not CABRINHAS fans !!!

... and realkiteboarding guys :if you want people to trust your opinion...then be more objective. So next time we will take your opinion "out of the bag".

have fun
Aris

Crossbow and shockwave look the same in the air? Maybe if you were blindfolded and smoked a joint ...

and the switch blade has heavier bar pressure than the crossbow? you must be the only people who thought so...come on guys...
