We have an 06 5th element bar with the original cleat which always slips (sometimes creating a dangerous situation).

We don't have a North dealer anymore in Victoria and have nowhere to go to replace this cleat!

I've contacted the North American distributor for help, but they never got back to me.

Does anybody know where I could replace this cleat online? Buy a new one, or get a replacement from North?

Dude the north bar has been shit as long as 05.
I have the 08 kite and 2 bars still no better.
There over priced and on the 07 in 1 year i replaced
5 grey depower straps as the bar started to cut through from wear.

Youre right, the06 cleat does slip, check out these guys, they post all over the world and have massive amounts of spares, i up graded mine. just select your part, select your destination and it turnsup next day ( well in the uk anyway )

Go to a sail store, they usually have many different styles of cleats as alot of the hard ware like cleats are made for yacht. I'll bet they're heaps cheaper too!
