I couldn't make it to the demo in La Ventana, but that was the first place the Production Hyper Type Two was flown in North America.
Feedback from the show is as follows:

-Feel is very refined- a Smooth kite with Predictable Behaviour.
-As Promised, Stability and Relaunch are excellent. Both Improvements over last year.
-Expect Great power, boost and upwind, like last year's kites.
-Depower is around 80-90%.
-To settle the debate, the kite does not have leading edge battens.
-Upwind is insane on all sizes, and bar pressure is light.
-Turning is very fast for kites that size, but not wave kite fast- Similar to the Hyper 1
-10.5 is a magic size. It's got killer boost and quick turning, though not as fast as the 9 Meter (no surprise).
-Also, the 15 got excellent reviews, offering a smooth feel and tons of power; the impression is that it's not just a big guy's kite..
-All of the sizes had people coming back for repeat Demos, Including customers who were loyal to other brands. One customer is trying to talk his favorite store into carrying RRD this year based on his experience with the Hyper 2.

Excellent!! Thanks for the feedback.
I'm picking up my HT2 10.5 m2 + 15 m2 in just a few days. Can't wait to try them.

Did you get any info/opinions on the turning speed of the 15 m2?

It should be one of the reference kites in that size. Across the board, they were considered fast turners in their respective sizes.
