travel board review : nomad

Postby tomyfly » Tue Feb 19, 2008 3:47 am

Brand : Vent de folie
web site :http://www.kitesurf-ventdefolie.fr/Defa ... PGFLngID=1

Nomad Board size :

Dimensions : 130 cm x 38 cm or 51.1inch X 15inch
Dimensions when folded : 80 cm x 38 cm or 31.5inchX 15inch

My family offer me this board, for christmas, because i m traveling a lot for business.

last week, i went to muine vietnam, with some friend for kiteboarding, and enjoy my new board.

Wind was beetween 14knots and 30knots,and i'm a normal kitesurfer, waveriding, jumping hight but not huge, with rotation and i use a genetrix hydra 2007 12 meter.

Verdict, after a day of usage, i was feeling really confortable on this foldable and asymetric board, a lot of pop, confortable, resistant, and fluid on the waves.

This board is an semi serial production, and i recommend it to anyone who travel, or have a small apartement, my kitesurfing, gears fit on a
géonaute bag now, and my girlfriend canot say anymore that it take to much place.

So i put on sale my jaime, cause i don't need it anymore.

The board, is in 2 part, the bottom layer can be change wit a mutan, surf or light wind board.

i will post some pics tommorrow.
