I need to order an impact vest on-line, since there aren't any close shops. Have narrowed it down to either the Dakine or the Litewave slam vest. Any comments on these, ie. fit, ease of getting it on, riding up, etc. Any other suggestions, if I've omitted a good vest in my selection process?

I have the Dakine Impact Vest, I have a large and I'm about 185 lbs. It does ride up some, but that might be because I am learning and have the kite directly overhead quite a bit.

I highly recommend the Dakine Impact Harness for: comfort, warmth, float, impact protection, and simplicity (one piece instead of two).

i just recently bought the dakine matrix... really like it .. lots of maneuverability even though its pretty tight, crashing i dont feel a thing!!. Tried the lightwave (don't know if was the slam vest) and had alot less maneuverability (even though it fit a lot looser). It might be because of the volume, the LW was alot more bulkier, the dakine is very thin but does a surprisingly good job!
