This is my expensive Mystic Firestarter after 4 months of use. I alwais washed it with fresh wather after every session. They told me that I should bring it back to the shop where i bought it. I'm actually living in Florida and i bought it during a kite trip, so i should go back to Sardinia only to replace my harness because they gave me a fault product?

Looks like a tear ... anyho, could just as well be a tear as a production fault ... from what one can tell from the picture. The prod. fault your refereing to, is that the cosmetic tear by your hand, or is there more around the harness?

Just contact the shop about it. Maybe you can send it to them.. or maybe they redirect you to mystic.
Expensive says nothing about how good things are. Probably just a combination of production fail and grinding over the sand sometime.

These things are not durable at all!!... Had mine for a few months, the plastic tubing on the back cracked in places and the safety does not stay in place. POS harness!!! Waste of $$ hope the new models are better

Use plastic ties on the connections to keep the back strap from getting loose. The rubber bands don't work. Yep, the plastic tube in the back cracks in places and they won't warranty that part.

My problem is that the Firestarter starts to hurt my back, and it's sort of narrow. I love the Warrior's back support, but then it digs into my hip bones. I have to rotate these two just to stay comfortalbe. They're falling apart cosmetically that's for sure but I don't even care about that. They're both far better than the Dakine ones so that's good I guess.

I used hair ties to keep the releases in place. But now the velcro that is used to pull the release ripped. This harness SUX!!! Buying a 2009 PYRO!!!
