RRD Obsession - the freestyler ...
An amazing kite! I was out with the 12m² and 10.5m² (my absolute favourite!). It rotates very fast, responds promptly to steer impulses and has a fat lift. Absolutely recommended!
RRD Passion - the freerider ...
From this range I had the 9m² in action. Actually my girlfriend was the whole time thereby on the way. In the beginning she had a few difficulties because the steering lines from the global bar were a bit too long. We did not change the length due to the cold conditions and so she had to move the bar a little more strongly. Her comment: calm and stable flight characteristics, super nice colour combinations and a constant pulling progression. All in all an all-rounder!
However a bit of criticism receives the RRD Global Bar. The adjuster is relatively far away from the bar. We are both "small" people. Due to that we had these slight difficulties to activate the adjuster. I was in Sardinia in the end of September and had the RRD Obsession 10.5m² in my luggage. After my first session I converted the bar in such a way that the adjuster sits around 10 cm below - this position fits form my personal demand.
Generally:
