I compared it against kites like the EVO 08 and 09, the Rebel'08, SS REV2, Vegas'08, Bandit and Bandit Dos, Core Combat+Combat GT and my longtime favourite the Core RIOT which was awesome in sizes 7m and 9m.
Kites of a similar shape are probably the most important to compare it to.

On Saturday, I had a great session with the Q (12m) on a local lake in extremely gusty conditions. Usually I'm fed up with lake-kiting after an hour or two. This time I packed my stuff (only because I had other appointments) after more than 3 hours (!) of awesome kitesurfing!
That kite is so relaxing to fly! It is 100% pure fun!
Take care!

Here is a link to a German Website which tests kites and makes little video clips of the safety features and the handling of the kites.
The Spleene kite that was used in the test was the 12m "Q".
Even though it is all in German I believe it shows the safety release function and the re-assembly of the quick release very well.
It also shows the various relaunch techniques depending on what position the kite is in.
I hope this will further demonstrate how the quick release and everything works on the "Q".

Good site, too bad it is not in English! The guy looks very meticulous about testing all aspects for each kite.
