Yeah the 7m is so much fun to ride. Here's a clip from a 7m Screamer session I had a few days ago.

Very nice video soleas.

But wouldnt it be nicer to ride the 7m on 45cm setting instead of 55???? ^^

Thanks Geronimo79.

As for the bar I like the finger tip control and faster response when riding fast in the waves.
Just a personal preference.

I posted this again in the main EPIC thread but since this pertains only to Screamers I will repost it here too.
---
Just wanted to tell you guys that I F$#@#&* LOVE THE 10 LE. What an amazing kite!

After choosing SCREAMER 14 as my main kite for our SoCal light condition and for my 245lbs, I decided that I'd stick with SCREAMERS to add my high wind kite. The question was if I should go with a 9 or 10LE. 10 seemed a better choice as for my weight I can always use an extra square meter :)

I just spent two days riding it and I’ve never had so much fun kiting. First day wind was around 18-20kts. I never expected that I'd be fully powered on a 135TT. When I started jumping it was like being in a super fast elevator. Never jumped higher, even on my 14 than on this kite.

This is definitely an advanced kite that you have to have to get used to a little as it really fast (I can compare it to my wife's 08 Waroo 7M).

All I can tell you that in these conditions and my weight I always rode my 13 so it was a really funny feeling to be on the same size kite as guys that are 175lbs :)

I can't wait to try this kite with a surfboard to see what's the lowest wind I can get going on this kite. I'm pretty sure that it will be around 15-16mph:)

I’m super stoked and I’m rediscovering the sport as it is soooo much different on smaller kites.

Thanks Dimitri and Dale for your help in getting me on these awesome kites:)

ps. I'm not affiliated with Epic, just sharing the stoke on a great product!

I set the 7m to the "slow" setting to see what it was like. The kite seems fly more to my liking on the slow setting. I couldn't really tell a difference in turning speed, but it may have had a slightly heavier bar pressure. What it did do, was make the kite turn more fluidly. It removed some of the "snap" from your "response/correction" input. I kitelooped on the slow setting too and it of course had problem completing the loop. The loops felt good... my crashes didn't so much. :)
It made the kite a bit more stable too.
Overall, I couldn't tell any negative effects from the slow setting but it did feel a bit more natural for me.

Try the 7m on the slow setting! It might feel good for you too.

The 9m on shorter lines:

Well I was pretty much at the top end of my 9m 25-35mph gusting more and I decided to take off the line extensions and give shorter lines a go. The shorter lines made the kite turn faster and there was an even more immediate response in the turning. It also seemed to make the kite more stable in the air but made it less forgiving through gusts. As for power, I noticed that if you like to keep the kite real low then shorter lines might be a better option for you. The power seemed to stay better with the shorter lines when you drop it low. I also kitelooped on it and it just felt better.
Overall, I decided that I will use shorter lines when I am gonna have a looping session but besides that I am going to stick with the longer (stock) length lines to handle the gusts better.

Heres a vid of my friends and I kookin around on some Screamers
