I had a Dakine seat harness that I really liked (it was recently stolen). I think it was the Storm model. What I really love about seat harnesses is that you can kite for hours without back pains of any sort- seat harnesses are a bit awkward on the beach but I forget I have them on in the water. Waist harnesses are exactly the opposite- on land they feel great but on water they ride up and put a lot of pressure on your back. I've never liked waist harnesses all that much, they definitely give more range of motion, but you lose a bit of control, and I don't like the way the ride up (I am unusually narrow in the waist, so this may be less of a problem for others). When my seat harness was stolen I replaced it with a pair of dakine board short/harness (because it was on sale for ridiculously cheap). It is pretty nice, allows more range of motion than a seat harness, but doesn't ride up the way a waist harness does. I am not displeased with it, but it just isn't as comfortable as my seat harness was for long sessions.

+1 for the Flying Objects 'Flight Control' - best waist harness I've ever used; even better than the original Pyro. As for seat harnesses, only one I ever found that didn't crush the family jewels at every opportunity was Dakine's Nitrous shorts. Nice and low profile too so doesn't feel like you're waddling around in a giant nappy (diaper).
