Hi guys I ve been using for years Da Kine waist harnesess. They were ok. But the belt that holds the spreader bar wasn´t very safe. The buckle wears the belt material. And a couple of times with high winds it didn't resisted the pull and I got mi kite ripped off me and I had to swim back to the shore. After this experience I thought it would be good to test another brand/harness: 1- I saw that the Da Kine Pyro 2010 changed the old buckle system, any reviews.? 2. What about the Mystic Warrior 3, I saw a lot of discussion on Mystic gear, and how quality I would apretiate any comment or recomendation. Thanks. Tio.

A harness is a very personal item.
I have tried the mystic warrior 2 and sold it after 5 times off use, it really hurts my back. Nonetheless, most of my friends like the warrior a lot.
Except for the buckle that comes out when you don't expect it..
I'm a big fan of pat love.
From 2007 till now it is still in great condition, after 180 sessions or so.
Very comfy and great back support.
Try some different brands if you can..

Thanks for your advice. Local dealers here only sell. Cabrinha, North and Da Kine. Thanks again. Tio

I personally ride with the ION Apex (like Prolimit and NPX too) but if I only had those options I would probably go for the North Styler. You should try on lots of different Harnesses because it really is a personal decision.

How about recommendations for seat harnesses, or a waist harness that will not ride up onto the ribs (or at least minmally)? I use a Warrior 2 waist harness currently, but I'm recovering from a back injury and would like something that will not ride up as much. With a wetsuit or drysuit, I find that my waist harness quickly slides up (had the same problem with my Ocean Rodeo Session 1 harness). Yeah, I know some people think seat harnesses are lame, but so are back injuries

Switched from Dakine fusion to mystic force shield. A couple of my friends did the same thing, they went from dakine to mystic and they love the force shield. I need a seat because of crushed vertebraes in the lower part of my back. I have way better mobility.

Liquid Force
I haven't really enjoyed the Liquid Force kites or boards I've ridden but loved the Luxury Waist Harness. Used my last one for 2 years and it still had life in it when I lost weight and had to replace it. They weren't available where I am but it's on the shopping list again now. I found it very comfortable and I was very happy with the quality. I like the twin releases on the leash attachment, not that I ever needed them.
Harness's are very personal though and what suits one guys shape may not suit yours.
