Review 2011 Brunotti Cherry Blossom 130x38

By Jackie:
The Cherry Blossom board is definitely an eye catcher on the beach, the unique graphic chosen and the "girly" accent that transmits makes you want to buy it just for that! But there is more , of course...:
Very classic design with a flat (or very shallow single concave..), nice flex and cuts on the tips to help in the carves, a narrower stance to satisfy girls requirements and good looking pads and straps that are a bit difficult to adjust for smaller feet, but not impossible.
In the water what strikes you at first is the smoothness of the ride, no water spray, very good upwind performance, great acceleration and a soft ride.
In jumps, it releases nicely without any suction effect (typical of deep concaves) and the good flex helps in nice landings.
Now let's mention the "need improvement" things..:
a bit heavier than expected, but not too much to affect performances. The board itself is light (2.3 Kg), but the straps/pads, fins and grab handle are a bit heavier than normal.
Straps could be more "girl" friendly: a bit difficult to tighten for small feet.

Overall a very fun board to ride, great overall performances and a really killer girly look (but not childish..)
