I was on a Screamer 7M, which allowed me to point super high, everybody else was on bigger kites.
That little kite is pretty high aspect and flies really far forward in the window, so it just goes straight into the wind.
I understand how you feel about your Flydoor, you love it because it gets you out early and hate it because it feels like a giant battle ship.
I will say the Oxygen obsoleted my Spleene in twenty minutes flat!!
I argued with Dimitri when he told me to try it, I told him no way it was gonna beat the Spleene and could never replace it.
He said just try the Oxygen, I said I would be willing to have him send it here and pay for it.....but it was going straight back to him if it did not beat the Spleene.
He said no problem, that he knew it would change my mind about my Spleene and he went ahead sent the board here.
He was right and I was wrong, I decided to keep it after twenty minutes on it.
I've been out on it for three good long sessions now and going out for my fourth today, it not only replaces my Spleene but allows me to mix it up with which kite I ride, I'm just as happy riding it as a my regular sized board, so it will get used way more than the Spleene did because I don't feel like it limits my riding. Ultimately, your regular sized board is better when you have lots of power, but I am comfortable enough on the Oxygen to feel good about riding it anytime...that is a first with a light wind board!!

I went out to do a little light-ish wind kiting today with my buddy Big Dave..
He weighs 250 pounds, he flew his Wainman Big Mama 15M kite and rode his custom giant Slotstik 60" X 24" skimboard.
...He also rode his Shinn King George 144cm X 49cm.
I decided to fly my Screamer 10M LTD (instead of the Screamer 14M) with the Oxygen board, just to see what they might be able to do together.
The wind was averaging around 13/14 mph, the gusts were up near 18 and the lulls were down around 12 mph.
The Screamer 10LTD and the Oxygen worked like a charm in that wind, I was surprised I had enough power to get it done. I had to move the kite, but had no real problem kiteboarding, ..got upwind and then lost some ground, got back upwind, went wherever I wanted and had fun.
The more C-ish shape of the10M LTD Edition makes it feel "softer" than the other Screamers ...it seems to be just as fast as the Screamer 9M, but more forgiving and better in every way, in my opinion.
The Oxygen let me play on a smaller kite even in light wind, but I also found out (or confirmed again) that the Screamer 10M generates a ton of power when you move it.
So a fun little session.

Does anyone try the crazyfly cruiser pro 135x46 and the Epic Oxygen that can comment
abou Upwind performance, how handles the chop each board, etc.

In size they look similar boards......
It would be interesting to hear comments about how perform each board....

Spleene vs Oxygen vs Slingshot Glide?

Had a Spleene 141X43 for several years.
Bought the Oxygen, rode it two or three times and was ready to sell the Spleene.
Oxygen is more fun.

The Oxygen rides smoother than my Spleene did, it is flexy and alive feeling.
Oxygen turns better, transitions from heelside to toeside faster and smoother.
Jumps better because it is shorter and releases off the water better.
Carves better because it is shorter and is not as square in the tips.
The latest Spleenes are softer, so they are better than my Spleene was.
Upwind is awesome on both brands, lightwind is awesome on both, but a true door sized Spleene (154, 159, 164) will go upwind better, but never feel near as much fun as the Oxygen.
The Oxygen tires my back leg out more than a regular sized twintip will, because the width at 147cm.
Other than that, the Oxygen feels really close to a regular sized twintip..but performs like a good lightwind twintip should.
I highly recommend the Epic Oxygen 135X47 board, it's a nice piece of gear.

I think that this is the problem with 135 cm you can get the nacesary rocker or sufficient length to get comfort.
That's why the industry is so wrong when they disign a lightwind board just to fit in the golf bag.

I'd would like to demo Shinn king George, Nobile XTR and mako king, dont like the Monk is overrated (lots of pimping), I´m a spoiled child and happy owner of a 50fifty (huge rocker and channels)

Panchito likes his Mako-ish board, and good for him, the Makos are really nice, but I like some other boards better now.
When I had Makos, I loved them and I would probably enjoy a Bellacera.
I agree that the Spleene Session 141X43 and the Epic Oxygen 135X47 get the same lightwind job done.
One way or the other, you have to get enough surface area to be a lightwind board.
And they are generally very flat in the rocker.
Most are very square, the Oxygen is a bit better that way so it feels more fun and carvy.
And the Oxygen jumps way better than the longer board does, so it becomes a matter of what you want, I want a lightwind board that jumps a lot like a regular twintip, the Oxygen is pretty to close to that.
The Oxygen works the back leg more but is better in every other way.
Also, the Oxygen handles big gusts and more wind than the Spleene did for me.
The King George feels like the Oxygen only it is bigger still, the big one is great for big guys.
The Monk is not a lightwind board, but Shinn never said it was, I think it is a great board though, anybody who ever rode one has to admit it is great board.
Had the Mako King and it is my least favorite of the Makos.
I agree..a rockered board with channels is fun, I am enjoying my Joke 138 as my regular sized board.
