Funny....i am actually a "Near-Sighted" optician (i wear contacts kitesurfing) 8)

Listen when i saw kiting for first time...
.. i "did not even think twice" and sold "all my winsurfing gear" the day i got my 5.0M Wipika :!:

He had been windsurfing 22 years 10 to 15 times a month and still have zero regrets :bye:

My "head shock vertically"...YES YES this is it...I " believed" right away...without even trying first
This was sure to become the ultimate "wind and water sport of the future"

If something is awesome & essential "i will know without trying" & buy it right away (kiting was)
Otherwise i am not interested...and yes it makes me laugh deep down

+1 for the Dynabar!! Especially wearing a seat harness. I may try one of the Rotating footstraps.

We offer the Plug & Turn version at a reduced price for a limited time period, so more people will try it out.
Give it several sessions and enjoy the surprising comfortable strap angle.

Good, articulate post, robertovillate.

Interesting point re innovative "GIZMOs":

I've been kiting for well over 10 years (I've still got a Flexifoil Nexus in the shed!), so I'm not a beginner but I've had a Go-Joe on my TT for years. Having spent a lot of ££ on a full Carbon Kevlar board, I don't want to lose it, and would have done so on numerous occasions without the GoJoe which:
1) rights the board if it falls upside down
2) lets you see it from 1/2 mile away and
3) sails it back if you fall down-wind to reduce body dragging.

It does not impair sailing stance at all - even on toe-side. OK, I don't do old-school board-offs and rotations, but I did take the GoJoe off in Cayman / Barkers last Dec as I lent the board to Johan the instructor who did them brilliantly!

SUMMARY
I am impresseed by innovators like Henning who devote hours to developing new products for increased performance / safety / convenience. I'm happy to give them a try, and if the products work, then they deserve commercial success.

We also get user comments on our Facebook page:

"Michael: I rode for 7 hours straight with the new rotating foot pads for twin tips on 06/01
No knee pain, no Advil, no down time, you won't be disappointed. Straightening your back foot a few degrees makes a huge difference."
