Has anyone tried the Fitbit Ionic? Looks to have most of the same features.

Hey guys,
We've just published a little review of the most suited smartwatches for kitesurfing, might be interesting.
A friend got the apple watch and loves it, especially the possibility to give a call when paired with your Iphone's sim, always reassuring when doing long distance or in offshore winds.
Here's the article:

Let me know if you've tried another model and are happy with it, would add it to the list.

What’s the best app on Iwatch to have a list ?
Notes not working from what I see
A to do list looks like too much work.
Just plain text

Is there an Android compatible watch that does a good job at taking phone calls when paired with your phone, while your on the water during a kite session?

Suunto. Been using for about 7 years. Very comprehensive. Trying Apple Watch. Good for safety if you need to call for help. Apps not so good.

I've just checked and the Fenix is able to pair with android and make or receive phone calls for sure, but it's not so clear for the forerunner though. It seems as it should, but I found a lot of people saying it didn't work properly with some android phones...

Latest Samsung watch with software sim (eSIM) so you can call without the phone near-by. Your operator has to support eSIM.
