yeah Dax, 600$ is a fair charge for one season quiver usage. That´s what I´m roughly planning for my North quiver as well.

By the way, the Nem 12 in e-bay, expiring tomorrow, is at 220€/250$ as I write these lines .. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 36370&rd=1

There will be a lot of takers at that price. If you know anything about Ebay auctions, that price will double in the last ten minutes... so looking a day ahead doesn't reveal anything special. Only settled transactions are worth mentioning.

Never like to speculate on things that have too many variables... but I think the seller is a regular on this forum... so I say he would not sell it for under $500. If he has to eat VAT/Duties, I say he would not sell it for under $600.

Just something I want to let go off my chest: everyone keeps dissing Best kites and saying they are cheap old shit from 2002...

Funny though, as their kites LE don't keep bursting (North rhinos), their kites don't jellyfish (gaastra gxr), they don't have a problem on the sewing of their panels and both side of the kites are equal (Naish), and last but not least... the material of their kites don't turn into paper tissue after one season (Takoon 2003).

That's all I had to say :bye:

pretty interesting poll wonder if there are many cheaters. That buy 2 get 1 free really did them good, hope they keep it going so I can get a new set every year.

Not much, I flew a best kite once but not for long cause I didn't like it.
I only kiteboard in the weekend and I love it. So when there is wind I like to have fun and not testing a kite I don't like. Also I find the "looks" of the kite very important and I really don't like the 'best-design'.

It's my personal opinion, and I have to buy my own kites so I'm not sponsored.

Kites: North Toro 8 (II 2003), Cabrinha Co2 10 + 14 (2004), Cabrinha Contra 19.5 (2005)
