5th line homemade SUCKS.....
The Naish Shift bar or the North 5th. Element bar is what i use..... 200% difference, on the good side, to a homemade 5th, line...
Buy the right gear, or dont use it at all!! That`s my standard.

No, Guerilla's (or any other PL-ARC's) dont need them to relaunch.

Toby, maybe you should change this to "have you tried a factory built 5th line (ie Noth/Naish) and if so are you planning to use it?"
There are 2 issues
1) some kiters will never adopt 5th line ie Guerillas, 2 line? maybe Recon Cabrinhas?
2) there's a difference between North/Naish 5th line and home made
I think I know where you're going with this but I think the question is slightly flawed.
For the record, I can't imagine going back to 4 lines
thanks

I have a Naish and a North bar and I will try both with a homemade 5th line.
I had allready a 5th line on an X2 two or three years ago, but not as safety.
Tomorrow we will fly to Cumbuco and I will start testing.

I made my own "homemade" 5th and I love it. Homemade or bought, what's the difference? It's just a bunch of lines cut a different lengths.

LOL...
The shift system is made out off 14 bits, that are NOT on any standard bar....´
That why, I make i say there are a difference between a simpel 5th, line, and a North/Naish bar..
It is all the littel things thats makes it a great bar..

my homemade 5.line-bar is made out of 25+x custom made parts.
but it's not much better then a production-bar, just works fine ...
