How much do you weigh?

I'm 180 lbs and the 14M is all I need.
A buddy of mine who is >200lbs rides his 17M fine when I'm on my 14. So, for me, it is a heavier rider kite more than a lightwind kite, BUT, I hear the boys down in Florida are loving the 17M for lightwind.

So, really depends what you need. (based on weight and how light is light!)

I am 2OO lbs, and it's for wind between 9 to 14, because after I can used my instinct 13 (2006)...

I know that the 14 is very powerfull, but I want a light wind kite...

May be the speed 2 is perfect but the price is horrible..

regards

I have an instinct 9 and have flown the 13. Those are nice kites too.

If you have the 13, definitely get the TD 17 and not the 14. The 14 will have a lot of overlap with your 13 Instinct.

Or, you could just spend the money on a BIG board like the JL Flightdeck and stay with the 13....but I know sometimes, its just nice to have a bigger kite and stay on your favorite board.

Call Neil; http://www.kitesurfusa.com/
He sells and rides the 17M in some light Florida air and can give you the straight scoop.
