Hopefully it will be better. In many ways the G1's were better than the G2's from what I could tell. I am also paranoid about "value engineering" and how it is applied to upgraded products. Just because it's the latest doesn't mean it's better. In many businesses, next years products are often worse than the products they are replacing. The changes are often made to reduce production cost rather than improve performance. My two cents:
- almost no beginners participating on this forum
- 90% of the beginners who have replied will buy a bow
- from the intermediate/advanced, half the "tube guys" will stick to the C-shape in 2006, half will move to the bow
Conclusion: if this pool is close to reality, it will be sold a lot more bows than C-shape kites this year.
