Probably any kite that I can buy and Sneak past my wife!!!!!!!

I'm in the process of switchin over to RRD HIR's right now. Also I saw 2006 rhinos and vegas kites out already. Not to plug them but Extreme Kites has them and I remember seeing a Vegas back in Dec when I was in maui and the guy wasn't a team rider.

Anyways whatever you choose its all just meant to get ya on the water so get something and get out there

I usually buy equipment if I have some problem to solve. This is the first time I can honestly say that I my kites do everything I need them to do. They get me out from 8mph to 35mph. Have great range, easy to auto launch/land, great hang time, fast turning, great up wind, and don't need much attention on the beach. Based on this, I will probably not be getting any kite this year unless one of mine is damaged or lost. In instead I will spend my $$$ on kitesurfing trips. Oh...they are Venom 10, Venom 16, and Super Blade 10.5.

What would tempt me: A true one kite quiver...great performance from 8mph to 35mph without sacrificing the properties of my current kites. I might even be willing to pump something up if it could do that.

I'm getting a PL V2 . . . . love the V1, only a V2 could be better! The day it arrives I will be STOKED! I'll be the only bozo at Waddell with a foil . . . . probably the only person not on a Caution!

Hopefully it will be better. In many ways the G1's were better than the G2's from what I could tell. I am also paranoid about "value engineering" and how it is applied to upgraded products. Just because it's the latest doesn't mean it's better. In many businesses, next years products are often worse than the products they are replacing. The changes are often made to reduce production cost rather than improve performance. That's why I generally don't upgrade unless there is a problem I am trying to solve.

Glad to hear there is a twin-skin rebel at Waddell!!!

My two cents:
- almost no beginners participating on this forum
- 90% of the beginners who have replied will buy a bow
- from the intermediate/advanced, half the "tube guys" will stick to the C-shape in 2006, half will move to the bow

Conclusion: if this pool is close to reality, it will be sold a lot more bows than C-shape kites this year.
