Is foilboarding going to be more popular?
Yes - it's a revolution which allows ridding in ultra light winds, 14%  14%  [ 6 ]
Yes - no doubts, I've already got my foil, 14%  14%  [ 6 ]
Yes - I am going to buy a new foil 5%  5%  [ 2 ]
Yes - I am going to buy a second hand 2%  2%  [ 1 ]
Yes - I am going to rent it or try it first 5%  5%  [ 2 ]
Yes - it is easy to travel with 5%  5%  [ 2 ]
Yes - it's cheaper as it requires only 2 kites, a board and a foil to ride in the huge range of winds doing various styles: foiling, jumping, racing, wave, slalom 9%  9%  [ 4 ]
Maybe - if foil prices drop to a reasonable level, 9%  9%  [ 4 ]
Maybe - if foil displace the Formula Kite IKA in competitions, 5%  5%  [ 2 ]
No - no chances, it looks strange and does not suit my image of kiteboarding, 7%  7%  [ 3 ]
No - how might it be future if the prices are out of this planet? 2%  2%  [ 1 ]
No - it will stay as a marginal branch for kite pensioners 9%  9%  [ 4 ]
No - there is nothing more attractive in it except light wind performance 14%  14%  [ 6 ]

I think you are missing a ( do you think this will be as popular as twin tips)

the reason being in some places you can not use a foil. my local is sometimes (tide dependent) very shallow.

Good poll though. I love new ideas/kit

Foil has been around for some time, it has a very small following. The main reason is 1. Difficulty 2 price 3 draft (3feet of water) not neccessarily in that order.
