Dear Friends, just got back from Barbados and I still have that blue sea in my eyes. Got there on the 18th in the evening just in time to see the white reef at 300 m from the coast out of the window of the plane. On Sunday had a wonderful day at Silver Rock with my 12m X2 were I found a good chop for about 300m and then big waves, sets of 3 big (2-3m) waves.

Silver Rock is the top spot on the island, because of the wide beach full of kites, the wind is sideshore perfect for jumping very high off the waves.

Here you can find the famous Brian Talma surf shop. The man is always around giving it a lot of ''hey man'', ''cool man'', ''take the action''.
You can find accommodation at SilverRock, hotel prices are about u$100 but you can negotiate. Or you can rent a beautiful apartment at http://www.barbados4u.com for cheap prices.

Close to SilverRock you find SilverSand a beautiful spot with a not very cheap but confortable hotel.

Here you'll find one of the ''club mistral'' of the island. The beach is not so big and it’s more a windsurfer’s spot.
Beginners can go to long beach, the longest beach with no trees or obstacles, only a big shore break can give you trouble there, you can find some beginners there or someone who wants to improve his rotations away from the S.rock crowd.

If you loose contact with the sand of S.rock or S.sand for landing you have the last possibility at rescue beach.

or you'd better swim till enterprise beach at oistins gulf because of the sharp rocks you'll find here.
Image
Over rescue beach you find Miky's bar where you pay 30$bbdos and eat till you’re full. Or you can visit Chicken Rita for a special fried chicken and potatoes
Image
Or you can go to Ostin fish market at: ''Fish net'' by Uncle George to eat a delicious grilled King fish or Dolphin for B$20.
but the best you can do is asking my friend Dave to get some fresh lobster for you

Places to visit if you go there with your ''Non-kitin-babe'' are BottombayImage,Crane beachImage, enterprise beachImage,BathshebaImage, and north point with his animalflowercave.
Places to drink a good margarita in the evening are at St.Laurence, here you’ll find ''cafè sol'' and the famous ''ship-inn''.
There are a lot of supermarkets where you can find almost everything, I suggest the banana-milk of ''pinehill'' and the banks local beer.
That’s all, bye now.
