Thailand in Dec/Jan 2005 - Partner and Info needed....

I'm gonna be traveling to Thailand for new year's.
Is it a good idea to bring the kites ? I have a SS 10 and 16 and a Drake147. I call myself an advanced beginner ... I can sail them on 15 knots or more.
Anybody going to be there during that time and wants to hook up for some sessions ? I'll be there from Dec 24 to Jan 15th.
