Hey,
I'm looking to make the cheapest kiting vacation possible. I'll be in Virginia in May so I was thinking Hatteras but haven't found any inexpensive accomodations plus I kind of want warm water so that's why I'm thinking SPI.
Any suggestions between these two locations?

If you're in VA in May...Hatteras is the place to be...it's just about a 2.5 hour drive from Norfolk..water is warm by then ..a shorty wetsuit or boardshorts are not out of the question....
Lots of fronts coming thru ..making awesome wind...
I think the Real folks have apts 0r bunk beds for rent,,(check with them)...fairly reasonable...
One of the best places on the planet for wind that time of year...
