Hi, anyone knows how much wind blows during april in fortaleza?? thanks¡¡¡

so, april is not a good time to kite in fortaleza, it's raining to much.
our good time there is from july to december/january, winds up to 18 ktns every single day.

July-January (actually through Feb this year!)
The Kite Adventures crew was down there for 6 months and only had 3 light wind days in Cumbuco, so we went to Jeri and had 20+ knots

definitely not windy season, but it almost always blows and the further North (and West) you go up the coast of Ceara, the more wind you get, Prea/Jeri for example has more wind than say Cumbuco. Last couple of days on Prea Beach = 12 to 15 knots.

Considering we are in mid April, this post is probably of little interest, anyway, April has been a quite rainy month, but basically, if it rains, generally it rains all over the coast, in Jeri too, if there's no wind or light wind, again it happens everywhere, but if wind blows, you can espect 5 to 10, (sometimes more) kts up towards Jeri than, by instance, Cumbuco, which sometimes can be not so interesting, (or yes), depending of the sort of kiting you prefer.
Said that, you can expect the wind to return as soon as stops raining and staying all the way until...it starts raining again, sometime in Feb-March-April, in other words, the thopic, only wind from July-Dec is just that, a thopic, and, by the way, mostly innacurate.
