I'm thinking to go to los roques in may (3-13) but i'm worry because i would love to kite with 12m or less, (72Kg, 126 board), there are at least 18 knots??

There is more wind in Coche island than los roques?

Is may a good month to kite in los roques?

The winds in Los Roques are usually lighter than in Coche, even thouth Coche IS NOT a strong winds spot.... Expect in Coche 15-20knts after 2pm, and almost no wind in the morning. In Los Roques, expect 12-16 knts before 1pm and after 4pm. Between 1pm and 4pm, the wind drops 50%...

I suggest you to look the forecast in windguru.com, wich is pretty acurate for these places. Choose wich one to go first by the forecast, since the wind not always blows at same time in these two spots.

If you want really strong winds, and do not care about chops and gust, stay with El Yaque...Wind all day long, starting in 15-18 knots in morning, almost 30 in afternoon.
