I am looking at KB trip late Sep/early Oct, probably Egypt. I am a beginner KBder and weigh 50kg (my light wind kite is 12m) and want to mazimize my water time as much as possible in ~2 weeks.
Is Egypt a good choice during that time? Where about in Egypt is most suitable for me?

I think Egypt is still good around that period (about 80% >= 4bft), the season ends in October (but that doesn't mean there's no wind, in November it's about 60% >= 4bft in Northern Egypt). The best winds are from May to October.

They are many spots in Egypt and I don't know all of them, try to find some info on internet there's lots of info. Try http://www.club-mistral.com and google... Ras Sudr, Hurghada, El Gouna, Dahab,... kitebeaches.com

I was in Hurghada in the second half of september, and I wasn't really impressed with the wind conditions. out of 14 days we have kited maybe 7 days, and on the days there was wind, it came at about 11 o'clock and disappeared at around 2 pm...
The weather is still great though, but I would consider going somewhere else that time of the year.
