Where to go December/ January

I'm planning a trip away over Xmas & New Year.

Any suggestions for somewhere fairly close to the UK, warm and consistently windy?

Pretty much all the windy destinations listed above are far away and will be quite expensive.

Have you tried Bognor Regis? Not too far away and the water is lovely 8)
Or why not Brasil? The flights are about £600 return, but once you are there the cost of living is extremely cheap. Sunshine, wind, sandy beaches, warm water... what more could you ask for?

Try looking into Nyali, Mombassa- fantastic riding/lodging and would be an outstanding holiday!

Brazil would be great, as well. Definitely more expensive over the holidays, but most places are.

The Bahamas are very easy to get to from the UK! Lots of non-stop service.. fun holiday destination!

Cabarete is ALWAYS fun, although the wind in December is not completely reliable... Good service to Puerto Plata, too...

Then there's St. Lucia! Gorgeous, tropical, fun...

Lots from which to choose, actually-

I'd be happy to give you more of what I know, if you would like.

Enjoy!

Yes, please!

I traditionally do a snowboard trip from 12/26ish to 1/1ish. This year I'd like to make it a kiting trip, but am looking for a good probability of wind, moderate prices, and a nice beach for the wife while I'm out kiting.

Ideas?
