Ecuador is good in Oct. Nice long beach. Expect 18-25 knots. And never cold.

Hatteras is exceptional in October. Especially the first 2 weeks in Oct. Very steady wind, still board shorts warm. Choose from Sound Side or Ocean. Often get some epic swells from the Caribbean hurricanes. Accommodations are cheap that time of year.

We are sailing to Isla tortuga, offshore of venezuela, in october on our 57' sailboat. good wind, lots of different spots, downwinders, glass flat water.
my favourite spot in the caribbean in october.
