Hi I am planning to go to Tarifa on the first week of Aug. I emailed one of the kiteschools there and they told me they dont operate during that time of the year (July-Aug) manily because there are too many people (can reach up to 500 kites) at a time and winds can get as strong as 50mph.
I was hoping some experienced riders who've been to Tarifa can confirm if this is true. Btw I am a beginner and am planning to take the intermediate iko course. Would this be an ideal place for someone like me?
Another alternative spot would be Gulf de Roses in Barcelona Spain. Are there any other spots you can suggest I can go that would provide consistent wind good enough for me to advance my skill. I will be taking a plane out from London, is there a good spot in the UK so perhaps I dont have to go outside UK.
