Postby pjbull » Wed Jul 04, 2007 4:53 pm

Hello !!

I'm planning a trip to Australia in December.. I Think I'll spend 25/28 days there so.. I'd like to visit both the cities ( SYD and PErth )
What about accomodations there ? do you suggest any? and where ? (hostels, sharing an apartment.. etc.. )

I have a Fuel 9mt 2007 and a 14mt Octane 2006 and a board 136x37...

thank you !

Kite Perth

Postby CozumelTom » Mon Jul 23, 2007 8:35 pm

I was in Perth last year and kited Woodman's Point. Great spot. Scarborough Beach is also good for downwinders. 8 hours north of Perth is Monkey Mia. Everyone said it is one of the best places in OZ to kite and very pristine, no crowds. Dolphins will often come in close to shore and play with the swimmers. Heading there on my next trip. West OZ is awesome. The East coast is too crowded.
Have fun.

From what i hear WA is sweet. i'm from the east coast and its pretty good here that time of year as well. shouldn't go long without wind and plenty of good spots, just get a campervan and head north and south from syd.
