dear mohamad

i'm sorry for late..but I was in noth sardinia for taking degree as kitesurf trainer.

forgot bugerru, funtanamare and chia ...these are wave spot
see my photo http://www.kitesurfsardegna.it/kiteacti ... amare.html

i reccomend Porto Botte the water is shallow about 50 mt from the beach ..after it reachs about 2mt deep.
a little question..are you able to swim? porto botte is in the golfo di palmas in south west coast. it's like a big sea-lake so no sea current. so is very god for beginner. how is your kiting expertise?
bye

dear mohamad
thanks for your compliments...you are very kind!!!

I believe that for a beginner or intermediate kiter..
it's not important how deep is the water, but it's important how could be the waves, sea currents and the wind quality.
at the beginning is very easy to kite in flat water with no currents (like a lake).
on flat water is easy to be on balance on the board ..and the nonexistence of currents allow you to be easily upper wind and to catch the board when you loose it.
it's also important a minimum deep to avoid collision with "sea bottom" during a jump..or if the kite during a gust lift/drag you out of the water ..
about our spot at 50mt from the beach the shallow is about 1.5-1.8 mt and after 100 mt about 2mt or a little bit more..there are several point in the bay with a lower shallow. the bay is protected by a strait..so it isn't possible to have wave or currents. the wind direction is side-on shore from right..the
form of the bay and the wind direction allow you to reach easy the beach if you loose a lot of water going downwind or if you have some problem relaunching the kite from water. you can see other spot info on our web site http://www.kitesurfsardinia.it
in wich time are you planning the kite trip?
a huge hug
alessandro
