I'm organizing a trip in Peru, from 5 to 25 of August. I have got a full week after the cultural club to kite.
Any suggestion for the spots? The situation in Paracas is now ok after the earthquake?
I know that Mancora is a good place but it's a long travel from Lima!

Its worth the trip to Mancora...I would stay for at least 5 days though

I know but i must spend 2 days in traveling with bus or 400 euros for flight.
I don't know... mmh

I've heard the bus takes forever and that you should only take it if you have a ton of time to kill

Hey, I have a small resort in mancora. It is well worth the trip up north that time of the year. Paracas will be freeeeezzing cold. but will be windy. just make sure you have a 4/3 on hand.

mancora on the other hand will be warm. The bus ride is minor, it is not 2 days..... and the flights at that time of the year can be very inexpensive since it is the off season. so dont let either scare you..

as for the kiting, that time of the year mancora will be windy everyday like clock work. so you can pretty much stay around there and kite your brains out. If you wish to go other places we can organize great guide services also.
