Hi.
Can you tell me how much a flight ticket normally costs from Salvador to Fortaleza, and how often they fly?
Thanx a lot!
Boris.

Hi.
On your webpage you write that one should try to avoid to land in Rio or Salvador on the way to Fortaleza - why is that?
Thanx a lot!
Boris

I don't see a reason why not.
I wonder why too?
I went last year via Sao Paulo, and it was no problem.

Hi Boris,
the possible reasons could be:
- in Sao Paulo you might have to travell by cab or airline transfer through the city to depart from the national airport. In the past years you arrived at the international airport and you had to do so. With last year the majority of the flights are leaving now directly from the international airport.
- You can not buy a ticket with an international credit card in advance. The only solution is to book a ticket in advance and buy it cash at the counter. I hope this 3rd world system of not accepting int. creditcards will be over soon.
- Of course you should avoid both destinations because of the time you spend on airports and plane - so best solution is for shure arriving directly in Fortaleza.
Cheers
Hacky
