Warm water, steady wind, 3 months of family time.

Hi, I am looking for advice for my wife and I who are having a baby next February. She knows that the only way to keep me away from skiing everyday is if we go somewhere warm with our newborn, so we're looking to spend next April, May, and June hanging out and kitesufing. Now we just need the location, so if you have any ideas, please chime in.

The requirements:
- warm water,
- good wind,
- some community around for repairs, new gear, etc.
- rental places available long term, not TOO dear
- fairly quiet (not looking for night life, but good food is welcome)
- prefer English or Spanish speaking, but don't care too much.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Where do you ski in Arkansas and how exactly is this trip going to make your wife happy?

So you don't want to go kiting everyday? hmmmm, interesting!
I will say that anywhere in the Caribbean will be excellent during that time.

AK = Alaska. Arkansas is AR or AS or something else besides AK.

South Padre is a good thought, thanks, but we are looking for something a little more...exotic. Nothing against Texas.

As for my wife being happy, she is a kite surfer also. This is actually her idea.

So the Caribean...that sounds nice. We spent a week at Isla de Margarita, that seemed like a pretty killer place. Any specific locations you'd recommend?
