Southern France: Nice to Leucate in late June/July

What are the winds like between Nice and Leucate in late June/July?

We are planning a trip to Nice and I was thinking of renting a car/van and driving around from Nice to Leucate area to kite.

What are the best spots to hit and will it be windy?

Any tips?
