We are planning a trip to the Caribbean in June. My wife really wants to go to Punta Cana in the DR for the nice beaches, quick travel from Houston, reasonable prices, and the good reviews on the all inclusive resorts down there. From my research, Punta Cana sucks for kiting!!! Anyone know of a good alternative all inclusive to Punta Canta that we would both enjoy????
Thanks!

Yo man i had the EXACTLY SAME dilema about six months ago. i eventualy talked her into going to the north shore of d.r. we stayed at the iberostar all inclusive it was a hella nice place the beaches were fantastic and the entertainment was non stop i can not say anything bad about it. and there was alot more to do than punta cana like exusions and such. and 35 min away was cabarete.i kited 10 out of the 14 days and she was so happy because the resort was amazing. look at the iberostar i bet you could get cheaper flights to peuto plata also.

We do caribbean kite surfing by boat trip. a great way to do it.
web.mac.com/caribbeankitesurfari.
6 years exploring the islands, we know the best spots to hit.
If she is not so much into sailing, i would check coconut bay in st lucia. right on the beach.
these guys are right on that beach
http://www.2elements.co.uk/index.htm they are new here but i have heard good things. the spot rocks for kiting.

Hey guys,
Next time check out Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, we got several all-inclusive hotels and we have a great kite spot, Long Bay. To find out our water conditions check out youtube Elevation Long Bay. And if you wanna kite outside Long Bay check out the website bigblueunlimited.com to do guided downwinders from the other islands.
