Hi, the missus and I are going to South Africa during the first two weeks of October and we'll be hanging around the Langebaan area so I've negotiated 'kiting for wine' deal (if I can get her drunk enough, she'll pass out and I can go kiting).
I know this is the beginning of the season, so are we too early for decent, regular wind? Can anybody tell me what we should expect at that time of year and what size kites to pack (I'm 80kg, steady intermediate).
Thanks

Season is just getting going you, should take 12,9,7 you will be fine with all those sizes, if you were going later i would have said 10 and under! but october can be a little less consistant than Dec-March, but you will indeed have a great time.
enjoy
